The newest Raspberry Pi 400 is an almost-all-in-one computer. Those that know it best say it is very, very slick. This device is in a size relative to a small portable keyboard, it has:
- Pi 4 processor of the 20% speedier 1.8 GHz variety
- 4 GB of RAM
- Dual HDMI outputs
- 40-pin Raspberry Standard IDE-cable style header on the back.
It’s recommended sale price is R1085.41 retail, it’s the kind of portable device you’re looking for because it has. This device is slowly but surely getting closer and closer to the Raspberry Pi dream.
The previous Raspberry Pi Model wasn’t exactly something that you’d look at and see as a computer. It was just a green PCB, and you had to rig up your own V power supply, figure out some kind of enclosure, scrounge up a keyboard and mouse, add in a monitor, and only then did you have a computer. But this new one will blow you away.
There is a full package for the Raspberry Pi 400 for R1550.59 For this price you get extra:
- USB C power supply
- Raspberry mouse
- Micro-HDMI to regular HDMI cable
- Name-brand SD card preloaded with Raspberry Pi OS
- Official Raspberry Pi Beginner’s Guide.
The Raspberry Pi 400 is the least Hackaday Raspberry Pi. It would be advisable to get the full package if you haven’t owned a pi before, it is absolutely what I would give to myself for Christmas or birthday present. This may not be the computer you want to use for big applications and many computer operations. Congratulations are in order for the Rasberry pi team for the creation of this device.
