Nurses lead extraordinary lives in their workplace. As a qualified nurse, you could contribute not only to the profession of nursing but add value to patients and communities every day! Providing nursing care to the young, old and vulnerable; to assist a patient recovering from an operation; encourage someone to live life independently in the community, or nurse victims of trauma and injury back from the verge of death. Nursing covers a range of activities that few professions can match – it is a demanding job with serious responsibility, but stimulating and intellectually challenging.
There is a range of specialist fields within nursing to choose from including maternity, surgery, intensive care, pediatrics, orthopedics, trauma, education, management, and many more – it’s a career where lifelong learning becomes a way of life.
Netcare Education (Pty) Ltd has been the leading private nursing education institution in South Africa for the last three decades, and has contributed to qualifying many registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and enrolled nursing auxiliaries, as well as post-basic specialist nurses.
Netcare will develop its curriculum and conduct programs in such a way as to produce independent thinkers, researchers, and health care providers who will excel in their chosen field of professionalism, and will become the leaders of tomorrow’s health care industry.
