Due to the nature of this company, all fields made available will be within the information technology fields. The company has only offered a couple of learnerships, these have increased over the years as they developed and grew. Below are some of the field’s candidates can consider when available.

The learnerships provided by Gijima are mostly for a 24-month period unless stipulated otherwise. Selected candidates must be willing to sign an agreement for this period before the allocation of any learnership is done.
Basic requirements needed to be met by applicants:
- Candidates must hold a valid Grade 12 / Matric certification (NSC level 5)
- With a minimum of a C symbol for English and Mathematics (Not Mathematical Literacy)
- Applicants must be a South African citizen
- Must hold a valid ID document/book or card
- Applicants must have a diploma or degree in selected fields where applicable
- Candidates must be willing to relocate if required
- Applicants must not have any criminal record or bad credit
